The Diary of Goddess Admin

10 January 2011

We’ve returned and are getting back into the swing of things after the festive period break, with the excitement and optimism for a new year, resolutions in check and having a new year and yet another chance to shine, we hope we can take you on pur tantric journey with us. Goddess Sophia is running a workshop / private tantra sessions here on Thursday, Goddess Aphrodite and Goddess Venus rejoin us this week to after the Christmas vacation. We are all rested and its lovely to see each other again and get back into the normal routine. Wishing you a magical 2011, filled with love, laughter and sunshine (although we won’t hold our breath on the sunshine front knowing the British summer :)

17th October 2010

Another glorious start to the week, a hazy misty sunshine and very warm welcome back toTantric Temple the Tantric temple after a week’s holiday for me Goddess Admin–it’s been a productive break away that gives me chance to pass my shiatsu exam and reflect,  bringing the joys and stillness into the very serious task of keeping everything running smoothly at the temple, its lovely to be back and reconnect with my fellow Goddesses, Goddess Kali is here preparing the outcalls suitcase and Goddess Naamah treats Goddess Lalita to some reflexology whilst waiting for her first client. A sleepy start to the week but how very lovely to be back into a routine, sometimes one can have too much time to think things over, reminding me to be ever present, and appreciate that I only have this very moment, to breathe and just have that awareness without trying to escape into the past or future, easier said than done. I’ve also been busy taking some snaps with my new phone, check out some pics of our Tantric Temple, we hope to welcome you here soon for the best tantric massage in London, sometimes I am surprised at how quickly things can change, from have lots of availability this morning, to being fully booked for the whole day by 1pm, amazing! We must be doing something right ;)

14th October 2010

Hey there my delicious ones,  here’s all the crazy gos from The London Tantric Temple thisTantric Temple week...Goddess Sophia will be a main Goddess on Friday, and will be taking over from Goddess Kali in November, Sophia has been living in an Osho commune in Costa Rica but is now back here at the temple to share her knowledge and start on you on your tantric path. This week we have seen a influx of couples, which is always fun, we love being involved in reconnecting and celebrating love awwww and Goddess Anastasia visits on Friday to reconnect with her fellow Goddesses, it will be lovely to see her :)
Goddess Admin has been gardening over the weekend, which will be great in spring but not so great now as she has injured her back, let’s hope a restful weekend will fix this, that and maybe an exchange shiatsu treatment

8th October

Goddess Naamah swishes around the temple in her beautiful custom made Goddess dress this week, spreading sunshine and song wherever she goes. Goddess Sophia cover’s as main Goddess on Friday and it feels like old times, its lovely to have her back. Goddesses Anastasia, Selene and Kali also attend a SHADA meeting, SHADA is the Sexual Health and Disability Alliance which is being created so that helpline operators, and professionals advising disabled people about their sexual problems, can learn from each other, and formulate policies. Wishing you a lovely weekend, peace out, Goddess Admin x

1st October

What a busy yet productive week it’s been, I have been training up another Goddess Admin to cover reception on a Wednesday, Anastasia and I also learnt some helpful tips for keeping in touch with our clients online, and the most important of all, is that we now have iPod speakers in our lounge, so I can listen to my favourite chilled out tunes, which puts me in the best mood, so hopefully that’ll come across when I chat to you on the phone. I am loving the wind and the leaves falling down, it’s beautiful, I love the changes in the seasons. October has snuck up on me, I have no idea how time has gone so quickly, I guess time flies when you’re having fun, and we’re always having fun at The London Tantric Temple.  Wishing one and all the most fun and delightful weekend/week, Peace Out – Goddess Admin x

Sept 17th

This week has been stormy one just like the weather, with emotional highs and lows. But the rain has gone and the sun is shining, leading me to believe that whatever happens, everything returns to balance. I’ve also had the excitement of working with Goddess Lalita a new trainee assistant with us, Goddess Lalita  - Goddess of bliss, radiance, ecstasy and desire who holds the 5 senses in one hand and in the other the honey of the gods with which to feed those senses.  She combines erotic actions with tenderness. The God of Love, Kama, gained his powers after one glance from her. It will be nice to welcome her to part of our tantric family. Goddess Naamah also goes solo as a main Goddess and works on a Friday, much to delight of some of the clients who have seen her for a 4 handed session.
Having extra time to study at The Zen School of Shiatsu volunteer shiatsu on a Wednesday means that I am even more enthusiastic and focused when I am here, and Anastasia and I will be holding an executive meeting with tea and biscuits to discuss marketing strategies and how I can get more involved with this. I will have to get my thinking cap and get the creative juices flowing and write some more articles on tantra. This month’s newsletter is now coming together nicely and I will send out next week
Peace out, Goddess Admin x

August 31st

There is a definite nip to the air on this the last day of August; it feels like autumn is here, so leggings are needed underneath pixie skirt today!  Whilst reading over the weekend, I was reminded of a good saying ‎"life never proceeds in a circle but always in an upward spiral" I find this very inspirational as we bring awareness into our lives and behavioral patterns, we grow and learn and so we are never stuck, and always evolving, progress however small is happening continuously :)
Autumn is a time to take stock of all the activities and excitements that happened over the summer, a time to let go the past, just as the trees let go of their leaves, so that they can grow new ones. We hang on to so many things associated with the past, but we can make room in our lives for new life and growth by having a good clear out of clutter, ideal at this time of year, I see autumn as the spring of the end of summer, a time when changes can be felt and a nice time to pause and let them sink in.  This is particularly relevant as Goddess Freya who is leaving us this Friday after having been a big part of the Goddess Temple for so many years, will be sad to see her go, but happy for her to grow and face new and exciting challenges ahead and we all wish her the very best of luck.  And more importantly the dinner and leaving party details are finally arranged so we will ensure of a good send off.
It feels like everyone has returned to London this and the summer holiday seem like a distant dream already. If you want to take a break from the chaos and hectic pace of London, why not come pay us a visit and let us melt your stress away, and as I light the candles and incense each morning, I am very grateful to be involved in the process of letting go of the stresses of London life which I hope all visitors here can pick up on.

Circle of love meeting of all Goddesses, a lot of giggling and a great chance for us all to reconnect and discuss life at the temple, and to support each other.

Goddess Lalita drops by to try out as a new assistant Goddess and see if for temple life is for her and after many months away from the Temple, Goddess Sophia is back with us again assisting with 4 handed massage, her eyes are so bright, she seems clear and pure from her break in Costa Rica and it is soooooooo lovely to have her back with us again, we have missed her! Venus is very happy at her return. Goddess formerly known as Dragon, now Nammah (she should get a symbol so she can be like Prince)  is in today assisting with 4 handed massage, it is lovely to catch up with her about her weekend and listening to song - alone in Kyoto with Goddess Kali and imaging cherry blossom gently falling down upon us.

Highlights included a visit from Anastasia who shared her bliss albums that she used to play when she was doing sessions, creating a playlist from the music from the workshop all our practitioners did with Jason, from Tantra4gaymen so we can use them in sessions, Goddess Dragon changes her name to Goddess Nammah and there is an explosion of Goddess Freya’s body glitter in her makeup bag.  Goddess Admin knee’s hurt from 5 rhythm dance class she did yesterday, but what is 5 rhythms I hear you say, well let me tell you - 5 rhythm is more an open space to dance consciously, and it’s about being aware of your breath and the whole of your body, like a moving meditation, and there are 5 rhythms which are designed to leave you in stillness, it’s great fun, basically you can dance in whatever way you want, however your body wants to move, it’s really fun and liberating. The rhythms are staccato, chaos, lyrical, stillness. This is a practice that leaves me feeling great, it’s a good workout, its fun and I really feel able to let go of tension and thoughts. I recommend giving it a try sometime – roll on 6 o clock she says, soon be time for the weekend, yay :)  But perhaps the most pressing of news at the temple is that we have run out of morning time herbal tea! Feel free to bring offering of said beverage lol.
